Three Indicted on Charges of Burglary and Trafficking Stolen Property

Grand jury charges Toms River pair and Manchester man

Two men and a woman were indicted by the grand jury of Monmouth County last week for burglarizing a Manalapan home on February 15, 2011. Michael Guerino and Brandi Collins, both from Toms River, and Christopher Nichols of Manchester were indicted on two separate counts, including burglary and theft of movable property.

Guerino, 48, Collins, 25, and Nichols, 30, stole jewelry and electronics from the resdience that was valued at an estimated $18,530, according to the indictment released by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office. 

Guerino and Nichols were also both separately indicted for the third degree crime of trafficking of the stolen property. Guerino was indicted for selling electronics valued at approximately $500 sometime in February in Toms River.

Nichols was indicted for trafficking in stolen property sometime between Feb. 15 and Feb. 23 of this year in Point Pleasant and Barnegat Township. According to the indictment, Nichols was trafficking the stolen jewelry valued in excess of $500.
