Three Indicted in Robbery, Assault of Toms River Woman

Trenton man, two Toms River residents each indicted for alleged crime

Two Toms River residents and a Trenton man are accused of robbing and assaulting a woman on Oct. 16, according to an indictment voted by an Ocean County grand jury.

Antonio T. Ballard, 20, of Route 166; Shontanette F. Holley, 27, of Lien Street; both of Toms River; and Jessie Jenkins, 19, of Trenton, are accused of robbing a Toms River woman and assaulting her in Toms River.

All three are in the Ocean County Jail, unable to raise bail.

Also indicted, and their charges:

Sergio D. Reyes-Carvajal, 34, of Burrsville Road, Brick, is charged with aggravated assaults on Brick Ptl. Sean Flynn, Brian Farnkopf, Patrick Mulcahey and Paul Catalina on Feb. 17. He is also accused of throwing a body fluid at the officers and resisting Flynn’s attempt to arrest him.

Reyes-Carvajal is free on $75,000 bail.

  • Paul T. Reed II, Pfister Road, Jackson, is accused of robbing a Beachwood woman Nov. 29 breaking into her Beachwood Blvd. home. Reed is in the Ocean County Jail unable to post $250,000 bail.
  • Curtis Rattray, 20, of Brook Forest Drive, South Toms River, and Tequila Shorter, 35, of Seventh Street, Lakewood, having pit bull terriers for use in dog fights and heroin and cocaine in South Toms River on July 21.
  • Justin Lovgren, 25, of Spray Avenue, Beachwood, having stolen property, stolen between Oct. 2 and Nov. 22 in Toms River.
  • Michael A. Gievara, 23, of Center Street, South Toms River, aggravated assault on Juan Rivera with a knife, having the knife for an unlawful purpose and illegal possession of a weapon on Feb. 1 in South Toms River.
  • Raymondjay A. Miller, 24, of Applegate Avenue, South Toms River, stealing numerous pieces of jewelry worth more than $500 from Heidi Ferrigno Jan. 1 in Beachwood.
  • Joanna E. Robinson, 32, of Dupont Avenue, Seaside Heights, stealing a 2005 Hyundai Sonata from Patricia Garrett Jan. 24 in Berkeley Township.
  • Frank D. Haskell, 33, of Mill Creek Road, Bayville, taking a pickup truck from Todd Dudley between Jan. 3-5 in Berkeley and Brick townships, and dealing in stolen property, Dudley’s construction tools, on Jan. 4 and 5.
  • David M. Jaquier, 21, of Eighth Avenue, Manchester, stealing jewelry worth more than $500 from Alicia Bellomy.
  • Wayne Rosario, 31, of Commonwealth Blvd., Manchester, making terroristic threats to Sara Joy Coughlin Dec. 4 in Manchester.
  • Tamika Williams-Hood, 33, of Shirley, N.Y., stealing Crest Whitestrips and Accu-test kits worth more than $500 from the Target store in Brick on Dec. 30.
  • Devin L. Dubrow, 27, of Tern Court, Forked River; Tara E. Rand, 23, of Colonial Drive, Tuckerton; Jason Garthaus, 28, of Birch Road, Bass River and John Sauer, 28, of Ash Road, New Gretna, receiving copper pipe and wire stolen from Sweet Jenny’s Restaurant in Barnegat on Jan. 3.
  • Michael J. Connolly, 26, and Nicole J. Petersen, 25, both of Mizzen Drive, Barnegat, having a stolen 2003 Honda motorcycle stolen from Robert Fox and a 2006 Honda motorcycle stolen from James Echavarria in Barnegat on Sept. 14.
  • James J. Herbst, 26, of East Panama Court, Forked River, eluding Ocean County Prosecutor’s Detective Richard Fiocco on Oct. 7 in Lacey Township.
