A two-vehicle crash on Route 70 near Massachusetts Avenue injured three people, Toms River police said.
Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said a man and a woman, both in the 70s, from Toms River, were taken to the hospital with injuries they suffered in the accident.
A third person also was injured in the crash, said Mastronardy, who was speaking from the accident scene.
