Toms River Cops Looking For Cash, Credit-Card Thief: Have You Seen Him?

The suspect used her card to make a purchase at a 7-11 in Toms River as well as for a bus ticket to Atlantic City. There were several other charges attempted however they did not go through.

The Toms River Police Department is asking the public’s help in identifying a person who stole $300 in cash and credit cards from an Ocean County College employee while they were at work. 

According to police:

On May 12, the 60-year-old female educator at the college left her purse unattended in her office. Several hours later she was contacted by her credit card company and advised of some potentially unauthorized transactions.

Surveillance footage has identified the suspect as a black male in his 40s. He has a mustache and is seen wearing glasses.
