Toms River Man Arrested In Manahawkin After Route 72 Accident

A 24-year-old Toms River man was arrested after a recent one-car accident at the Sunoco gas station on Route 72, police said.

On Saturday, April 19, at 12:15 p.m., Daniel J. Anderson Jr. was arrested on the strength of an active traffic warrant issued by the Seaside Municipal Court, in the amount of $403.00.

During the course of the one car accident investigation, Traffic Safety Officer Justin Pascale discovered the active warrant stemming out of the Seaside Heights Municipal Court, police said.

No one was injured in the accident.

A patrol unit then responded to TSO Pascale's location to assist, and Anderson was then taken into custody without incident on the above mentioned warrant.

Anderson was transported to Stafford Police Headquarters where he was processed and later released on bail, pending a future court date in Seaside Municipal Court.
