Toms River Man Charged With Dealing Oxycodone, Fortifying House

Police have charged a Toms River man with dealing oxycodone, possessing a slew of other drugs and fortifying his home with counter-surveillance equipment and barricades.

The Toms River Police Department's Special Enforcement Team and members of the department’s Emergency Service Unit executed a search warrant at 625 Greenwich Court in Toms River March 25.

The search warrant was the result of a cooperative investigation by members of the Toms River Police Departments Special Enforcement Team along with members of the Newark and Atlantic City offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration, police spokesman Ralph Stocco said.

As a result of the investigation, a large quantity of oxycodone pills, methadone, and over $4,000 in US currency was seized from the residence, Stocco said.

Officers also seized a quantity of ketamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, said Stocco.

According to police, the residence was also equipped with counter surveillance equipment and the front door was reinforced and barricaded so as to prevent entry.

A 2006 BMW 750 was seized pending forfeiture proceedings, being that it was used in the distribution of narcotics, Stocco said.
