Toms River Man Charged with Groping at Supermarket
Man accused of grabbing women's buttocks in supermarket.
Stafford Township Police arrested David Laiso, 36, of Toms River for alleged criminal sexual contact on Friday afternoon, according to a department statement this morning.
According to the report, Laiso was shopping at the Shop Rite on Rt. 72 where he was accused of allegedly grabbing the buttocks of a 22-year-old female in the supermarket.
The female accuser stated Laiso was first staring at her, then after she turned around he walked up behind her and allegedly grabbed her buttocks. A verbal argument between the two ensued and police were contacted.

After investigating, police arrested Mr. Laiso and transported him to police headquarters where he was processed and later released pending a court hearing for the criminal sexual contact charge. The female accuser received no injuries.
Patrolman John Morrin was the arresting officer.
