Toms River Man Faces 15 Charges of Credit Card Theft

Indictment for Sept. 29 incident

A 41-year-old Massachusetts Avenue, Toms River, man is facing 15 charges of credit card theft, fraudulently using the stolen credit cards, and trying to use them in an indictment voted by an Ocean County grand jury.

Nicholas Bairstow is charged with taking two credit cards from a woman in Beachwood on Sept. 29 and using them repeatedly at Kmarts in Brick and Toms River and the Home Depot in Toms River. The grand jury also charged him with theft by deception at the businesses.

  • Deandre D. Boone, 20, of Justice Court, Toms River, and Rahmel S. Jones, 21, of Medina Road, Lakewood, having a stolen Acer laptop computer and Apple I-Pod on Nov. 23 in Toms River.
  • Gary W. Zdenek, 33, of Birmingham Avenue, Toms River, stealing a debit card for First Financial Credit Union Bank from Sharon Zdenek and attempting to access information in its computer network.
  •  Caitlin V. Clark, 21, of Bordentown, stealing several pieces of jewelry worth more than $500 from two Manchester Township residents between Nov. 30 and Dec. 24.
  • Robert P. Moore, 26, of North Holly Lake Drive, Little Egg Harbor, stealing a Case backhoe from Magnus Construction Company and having oxycodone Jan. 27 in Beachwood.
  • Keisha Richardson, 27, of Newark; Leona Beard, 32, of Irvington and Carmella White, 32, of East Orange, passing forged checks and theft by deception at a TD Bank branch in Berkeley Township on June 30. White is accused of passing a check for $3,218 on June 30. Beard is accused of passing one for $3,562 on July 10, and Richardson one for $3,297 on July 2.
