Toms River Man Indicted, Charged With Armed Robbery At Howell Best-Buy

A 33-year-old Toms River man was indicted last week and charged with committing armed robbery at the Howell Best-Buy, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Robert Dosil of Cleveland Street was indicted May 1 on charges that he committed armed robbery and inflicted "bodily injury" to another person during the Best-Buy incident, according to records.

Dosil was allegedly seen on video on Dec. 1, 2013 covering merchandise beneath his coat. After he was approached, Dosil charged at one employee and knocked the person to the floor, police said.

He was initially charged with robbery by force, shoplifting, possession of hypodermic syringes and aggravated assault. 

The suspect also allegedly threatened to kill another person, according to court records.

No information on bail was available.
