Toms River Man Indicted for Possession of Stolen Emergency Responders' Equipment

Ocean County grand injury indictments this week

Court records show the following indictments were also handed down this week:

  • Dorothy Sullivan-Procopio, Foxmoor Lane, Bayville, is accused of having jewelry stolen from Camille Higgins on Sept. 17 in Berkeley Township.

Catherine Alvira, Dogwood Drive, Bayville, is charged with stealing the identity of Theresa Augustino on Oct. 24 in Manchester Township and giving false information to law enforcement officers. Alvira is also charged with using Augustino’s identity to fill out a financial questionnaire issued by the Manchester Township Municipal Court on Nov. 17, and forging the victim’s name on a time order payment to the court.

  • Martin D. Stygar, 42, of Beaver Avenue, Manchester, is accused of having a car stolen from Margaret Wilson there Sept. 15.

David M. Byrnes, 44, of Bridge Avenue, Point Pleasant, is charged with breaking into a house on Port Royal Drive in Toms River and stealing a laptop computer.

  • Rafael P. Rodriguez, 32, of Honeycutt Road, Clinton, N.C., is charged with violating the terms of his community supervision for life between March 30 and June 17 in Point Pleasant and Seaside Heights by failing to report his address to authorities, failing to complete treatment and being charged with drug possession.

Peter F. Steffen, 25, of Hawley, Pa., is accused of eluding Trooper R. W. Gilman in Brick on May 7.

  • Michael N. Bocchino, 20, of Maple Street, Summit, is charged with receiving a stolen New Holland skid steer owned by Coba Landscaping on Sept. 23 in Brick.

Henry J. McKay, 26, of Sawmill Road, Brick, is accused of breaking into an apartment on River Avenue in Lakewood on Oct. 28 and stealing jewelry, a television set, and a pocketbook.

  • Charles R. Kicak, 46, of Oak Avenue, Brick, is accused of stealing money from a Toms River woman between Aug. 16 and 26 by promising to do landscaping work that he never completed.

Tyler W. Dietlmeier, 19, of Water’s Edge Drive, Toms River, is accused of stealing a Panasonic outdoor network camera from Alan Baker on Jan. 11 in Lacey Township.
