Toms River police are investigating a home invasion and robbery that happened at the Presidential Boulevard apartments on Thursday night, Chief Michael Mastronardy said Saturday evening.

“A female resident of the Presidential Boulevard Apartments reported that her doorbell rang on Thursday night, and when she answered the door, three masked subjects entered her residence,” Mastronardy said.

The woman was kept in the residence while the three masked individuals stole $160, Mastronardy said. The trio then left the premises.
