Toms River Woman's Home Burglarized While She Was In Paralympics

The suspect stole cash and jewelry from Cheryl Leitner's Toms River home

From The Associated Press: Police are trying to find the person who burglarized a Toms River woman's home while she was in London competing in the Paralympics.

The suspect stole cash and jewelry from Cheryl Leitner's Toms River home. Also missing were things the three-time track and field competitor earned at the Paralympic games in Beijing and Sydney, Australia.

The 29-year-old quadriplegic wouldn't specify what the objects are because the investigation is ongoing. However, Leitner told the Asbury Park Press (http://on.app.com/PlmwMl) they are things she could pass on when she has children so they could be proud of her.
