Traffic Alert: Route 37 High Volume Delays

High volume is causing delays along Route 37 eastbound this afternoon in the area of Hooper Avenue, Main Street and the Garden State Parkway.

An influx of motor vehicles has backed up traffic on Route 37 at the Hooper Avenue traffic light in particular, with red light traffic stretching to King Street near the Route 166 and Main Street intersection. Traffic again slows leading up to the Main Street light, stretching to the parkway interchange.

Delays along Route 37 were reported after 11 a.m. today and were ongoing at noon.
