Two-Alarm Fire Breaks Out In Seaside Heights Restaurant

Firefighters are battling a blaze with heavy smoke at Casa Del Sol restaurant on the Boulevard in Seaside Heights, according to initial reports.

Heavy fire is apparently burning through the roof, second floor and attic.

Visible smoke is pouring out of the restaurant windows, in the facility a block from the Seaside Heights Boardwalk and Ocean Terrace. Multiple fire trucks and emergency responders are assisting with the working fire.

The Mexican restaurant is at the corner of Boulevard and Hancock.

Unconfirmed reports state two firemen have suffered injuries and a FAST team, the Firefighter Assist and Search Team, has been contacted.

Streets are blocked off for two blocks in each direction, according to an eyewitness report.
