Two Found Dead In Separate Incidents Thought To Be Narcotics Related
Police investigating whether the Friday night deaths were caused by drug overdoses
are investigating two deaths that occurred Friday night involving possible narcotics overdoses.
The first call was made just before 8 p.m. at a residence on Bridgeport Drive. A 22 year-old male was found unresponsive and rushed to Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, by First Aid Squad, said Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.
At 11:30 p.m police responded to a home on Valley Stream Drive where a 33-year-old male was found in his bathroom after friends went to check on him, said Mastronardy.

These deaths are being investigated by Officers Ed Mooney and Travis Seaman, Detective Randy Petrick , the Office, Ocean County Prosecutors Narcotics Unit and the Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office, said Mastronardy.
