Two people were injured in an accident at Hooper and Grand avenues on Friday, police said.
John Nash, 45, of Oak Glen Road was operating a 2002 ford truck southbound on Hooper Avenue when his vehicle collided with a 2002 Ford Taurus that was heading westbound on Grand Avenue.
The Taurus was operated by 35-year-old Geeshee Howard of East Earl Court, police said.
Howard’s Ford, after the collision, then struck a chain link fence and a sign for the entrance of Toms River High School South.
Geeshee Howard and a 17-year-old passenger in her vehicle, Geea Howard, were transported to Jersey Shore Hospital. Traffic Safety Corporal Frank Palino is investigating.
