My neighbor was given 24 hours to remove his trampoline or State Farm was going to cancel his policy
Av January 21, 2013 at 12:03 AM
They will give the Homeowner grief when they come out to inspect fire damage. I never said trampoline would have any impact on their fire damage claim
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 12:13 AM
They can give all the grief they want. They still have to cover the fire damage,

One of the many questions I was asked why I got my homeowners insurances...In 15 years I've had several....Do you have a trampoline? I asked why, does it matter? and they said absolutly. We will not write you if you have a trampoline. This was Allstate, State Farm, Farmers and Cambridge. If I was the homeowner I'd make that trampolice vanish ASAP. As soon as the adjuster sees it, they will hear something they do not want to hear.
kimberly January 21, 2013 at 01:05 AM
FYI....I had a house fire....also had a trampoline, no issues about the trampoline, when insurance came and looked at the house.... A fire is a traumatic experience....
Irina January 21, 2013 at 01:06 AM
Yes they'll cover the fire damage, and tell them to get rid of the trampoline ASAP, or risk cancellation.
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 01:28 AM
Ok, fine, a trampoline might get them cancelled but why even mention it in an article like this. Do you really think this family needs to think they will be cancelled for having a trampoline? AV, you did did say they will have problems in your first post. This is a fire claim not a personal injury claim. Who cares about the trampoline? You people really need to get a life other then sitting here and determining what people will be covered for in a fire. The trampoline comment was just stupid.
Av January 21, 2013 at 01:35 AM
So your saying I'm stupid ? As far as getting a life you sure have a lot to say @citizen
Av January 21, 2013 at 01:36 AM
@i have spoken Your comments are right on the money.
Irina January 21, 2013 at 01:45 AM
@Av Thanks....Obviously A citizen is clueless. They also asked me if I had any of the following dogs... Insurance companies are real mutts when it comes to things that will cause them to lay out $. They nit pick about everything....Kimberly you were lucky having a lazy adjuster.
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 01:47 AM
Yes, you are stupid. Having a trampoline has nothing to do with having a house fire. Making that statement is asinine. The insurance company can not say anything about it in regards to the fire damage. Can they threaten the home owner with cancellation after the fact? Sure, but it won't change the fire claim.
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 01:52 AM
@I have spoken, I never said you were wrong. Trampolines are not illegal. The insurance company can deny a claim if it is file due to a trampoline injury. My point is AV stated in his first comment that the home owner would have problems because they have a trampoline. This is not true. Regardless of a trampoline or any kind of dog it does not change the fact that the damage was caused by a fire.
Av January 21, 2013 at 02:16 AM
@citizen bravo your alert, we know the claim is for a fire you ass! I was trying to spread some information to other humans out there.you sure know a lot about nothing
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 02:25 AM
"Wait till there insurance company see that trampoline , that when they'll have problems" No, you said they will have problems. Maybe you should learn how to word your comments. This insinuated they will have problems placing a claim due to the fire damage. Seems like you are the ass!
Laci January 21, 2013 at 02:29 AM
Just seen a Farmers insurance companys ad with the NE and BAL championship game. A trampoline can be a liability.
Craig January 21, 2013 at 02:45 AM
I think it is great how I got under your skin AV ... you simply are a simple person. The trampoline will not affect your insurance unless you have a very inexpensive policy ...
Av January 21, 2013 at 03:01 AM
@craig your not under my skin.i have compassion for ignorant people they can't help themselves .
Av January 21, 2013 at 03:03 AM
@citizen I'm sure you never made a typo. After all you did have 5 years of high school .
barbara January 21, 2013 at 03:14 AM
OMG stop it already with the trampoline and insurance comments! Why not just say you're sorry the people had a fire and remember to extinguish all smoking material inside and outside.
Av January 21, 2013 at 03:30 AM
Do you have a trampoline question?
A Citizen January 21, 2013 at 03:37 AM
I agree Barbara!
Paul E Taylor Jr January 21, 2013 at 03:48 AM
WOW, is it a trampoline? I thought it was a fighting cage for the UFC lol
Assunta January 21, 2013 at 06:36 AM
My husband found this fire & alerted owner
Craig January 21, 2013 at 07:27 AM
I do have a trampoline question. If the trampoline had 5 nickels and it gave 3 nickels to AV but AV jumped on the trampoline and lost his nickels how many nickels does the trampoline have?
jerseyswamps January 21, 2013 at 12:57 PM
Thank God the firemen saved the trampoline.
Av January 21, 2013 at 01:17 PM
Oh Craigy that's easy the answer is 5 apples. Do have anymore questions trampoline questions Craigy?
John V January 21, 2013 at 02:59 PM

Bob Hockenfrocken January 21, 2013 at 09:58 PM
Hey John V do you risk your life for the sake of others in the community?
fed up January 22, 2013 at 01:38 AM
Hey Av, i read that you went to riggers for breakfast the other day and it made me think back of razzles, i dont know if is still there but if they had trampolines we could play human beer pong with Craig and A Citizen. Ahh the good ole days in seaside!!
