Two Toms River Men Arrested As Fugitives to Penn. Theft Court Date

Ocean County Sheriff's Department announces arrest of Joanna Drive residents who failed to appear in Pennsylvania court

Two Toms River men failed to appear in a Pennsylvania court to answer charges of theft there, and the Sheriff's Department arrested the pair as fugitives.

Andie Lesko, 22, of Joanna Drive was charged by Sheriff’s Detective C. Vazquez with being a fugitive from Chester County, Penn., where he faces charges of failure to appear on original charges of theft by unlawful taking of movable property, according to the sheriff's department. Lesko was lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending extradition back to the state of Pennsylvania.

Also arrested on Dec. 22 was Robert Kovacs, 21, of Joanna Drive, who was charged by Sheriff’s Detective C. Vazquez with being a fugitive from Chester County, where he also faces charges of failure to appear on original charges of theft by unlawful taking of movable property. Kovacs was lodged in the pending extradition back to the state of Pennsylvania.
