Woman Indicted on Aggravated Assault After Throwing Bodily Fluids at Police Officer

Indictments handed up by Ocean County grand jury

A Seaside Heights woman has been indicted on two counts of aggravated assault in an incident where she allegedly threw bodily fluids on police officers in Seaside Heights.

Laura Muller-Hannon was indicted on two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault in the May 12 incident by an Ocean County grand jury sitting in Toms River. Muller-Hannon also was indicted on a count of criminal mischief for allegedly doing more than $500 damage to property belonging to Steve Potter.

She is being held in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $5,000 bail, no 10 percent option and is not permitted to contact Potter.
