2014 Campaign For Lone Freeholder Seat Has Begun, Report Says

Democrat Timothy E. Ryan wants to challenge Republican Freeholder Joseph H. Vicari

Timothy E. Ryan, who owns the seven funeral homes throughout Ocean County that bear his name, gathered supporters for a news conference Wednesday in Toms River to formally announce his campaign for the one seat on the freeholder board that is up for re-election this year, according to a report in the Asbury Park Press.

Tim Ryan is the modern day Adlai Stevenson, nice guy, perennial candidate, perennial loser. Uncle Joe in a cake walk...

He is tenacious in running again. Maybe the voting public is ready to dump Vicari. There is a lot in his closet.

Well he was on the then Dover Twp committee before he became a freeholder. They had road department jobs too.
