Decision Stalled on Pleasant Plains Apartments, Townhouses

Zoning Board will continue to hear Nobility Crest plans at March meeting

The Toms River Zoning Board of Adjustment once again ran out of time Thursday night to vote on a number of variances for the Nobility Crest @ Dover LLC commercial and residential , to be constructed north of Cox Cro Road on Route 9.

In lieu of additional testimony and an increase in the public’s involvement in the proceedings, the variances—needed to construct a 53,000-square-foot shopping center, two 25-unit apartment buildings and 200 townhouse units—failed to make it to the board for a vote due to time constraints.

The board will hear the proposal again during its Mar. 10 meeting.
