The Ocean County Board of Chosen Freeholders is hosting the annual Lithuanian Flag Raising Ceremony at noon on Thursday, February 16 at the Ocean County Administration Building, 101 Hooper Avenue. Sponsored by The Central Jersey Chapter of the Lithuanian-American Community, the ceremony marks the 94th anniversary of the Lithuanian Declaration of Independence, after more than 120 years of Czarist Russian rule. The public is invited to attend the flag raising. For additional information please contact the Ocean County Department of Public Affairs at 732-929-2000.
