Five Indicted in Marijuana Distribution Case

Philadelphia pair, Toms River trio had at least five pounds of marijuana

Two Philadelphia residents and three Toms River residents have been indicted in connection with a plan to distribute at least 5 pounds of marijuana by an Ocean County grand jury.

Paul Diep and Luan T. Mac of Philadelphia, and Mia N. Owens of Toms River all were indicted on a count of second degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance, and fourth degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. They are accused of being in possession of at least 5 pounds of marijuana in Toms River on Sept. 30, with intent to distribute it.

Along with those three, Kristian Cypher of Toms River was indicted on two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon for allegedly having metal knuckles and a gravity knife. And Jorge Howland of Toms River was indicted on a third-degree count of hindering apprehension in connection with the case on Sept. 30.

Cypher and Howland were released on summonses at the time of their arrests. Owens was released on her own recognizance. and Mac is out of jail after posting $25,000 bail, no 10 percent option.

Diep is lodged in the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $100,000 bail, no  10 percent option.

Also indicted by the grand jury:

  • Justin Bolden and Corey L. Nero, both of Toms River, each on a count of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for allegedly having heroin in Toms River on June 23, 2011. Nero was released on a summons; Bolden posted $10,000 bail, no 10 percent, on June 23, 2011.
  • Jason R. Ramella of New York City, on third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for alledgedly having oxycodone in Toms River on Feb. 5. He was released on his own recognizance on Feb. 23.
  • Maria Milas of Toms River, on two counts of third-degree of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for allegedly having oxycodone and methadone in Toms River on Jan. 14. She was released on $5,000 bail, no 10 percent, on Jan. 14.
  • Michael K. Harris of Lakewood, on a count of third-degree possession and a count of third-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine on Oct. 6 in Toms River. He was released on $15,000 bail, no 10 percent option, on Oct. 8.
  • John B. Buono II of Jackson, on two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for allegedly having heroin and oxycodone in Jackson and Toms River on Jan. 29. He was released on $15,000 bail, no 10 percent, on Feb. 13.
  • Tino Consiglio of Brick and Dylan A. Lomboy and Giana M Raheb, both of Toms River, on a count of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, for allegedly having oxycodone in Brick on Jan. 19. Raheb also was indicted on a count of possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, and Consiglio was indicted on a count of distribution of oxycodone. All three were released on summonses.
  • Edward T. Blayer of Waretown, on a count of operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension for driving under the influence, on Aug. 6, 2011, in Waretown and Toms River. He was released on $5,000 bail, no 10 percent, on Aug. 7, 2011.
