Ocean County Clerk Selected to Lead NJ County Clerks

The County Clerks form New Jersey's 21 counties have selected Ocean County Clerk Scott M. Colabella to a leadership position in the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey. COANJ is comprised of the Constitutional Officers (Sheriffs, County Clerks, Surrogates and Registers) representing each of the state's counties. The association membership annually selectes a single constitutional officer as Section Chief to lead each respective group.

Colabella succeeds Somerset County Clerk Bret Radi as 2012 Section Chief. Colabella said he was honored and humbled that his colleagues from throughout the state, and from both sides of the political aisle, selected him to serve as Section Leader in 2012.

More Election Info Added to Internet Page

2012 promises to be an exciting and very busy election year in Ocean County. To assist candidates, voters and citizens in providing as much information as possible on the clerk's website they have recently added copies of complete Official Canvass Reports which contain the election results dating back to 1980. They are also currently in the process of scanning Sample Ballots from prior election years to add to our vast archival resource of ballots that appear on our election page.

In the past the public had to visit the office in Toms River or request copies of these resources thru the mail and now you can download these election documents directly on your computer.
