Seaside Heights, New Jersey (My9NJ) - There’s a new “Situation” in Seaside, New Jersey this year. The infamous summer vacation spot is currently going through some road blocks. The moment you enter the island drivers are hit with detour signs, gates, or a bunch of cones. Some locals may even have trouble getting to their homes and businesses.

Gary Jablonski, Co-owner of Bum Rogers Tavern and Crabhouse discussed the street situation in one of New Jersey’s biggest shore towns.

“A lot of them can’t even get down their own streets and you know they have to park at the top of the street and walk down. So if you have groceries, it’s been tough,” Gary stated.

Who cares why they come as long as they spend money while they are here! Food, gas, entertainment.....whatever it takes!

The new owner of Bum Rogers weren't even "neighborly" enough to REHIRE the old and original staff, instead Gary brought in a bunch of no names that don't know the locals and bring in business.

Most business owners want there people , trained there way to meet the OLD crowd or the new customers. New owners want a clean sweep so to say , and that's not un -common. Some will rehire if they feel YOU will do it there way . If you do then you stay , it's a business decision by those in charge. It's also not un-common to have a large turn over in that type business , until they feel at ease with your work , and how you meet , greet and service there customers..

This town does not like outsiders coming in, only home owners so what is the big deal. I see nothing friendly about either seaside when it comes to their parking enforcement and police patrols.
