In Seaside Park, Balancing Road Reconstruction With Business Concerns

Bum Rogers owner provides his opinion

Seaside Heights, New Jersey (My9NJ) - There’s a new “Situation” in Seaside, New Jersey this year. The infamous summer vacation spot is currently going through some road blocks. The moment you enter the island drivers are hit with detour signs, gates, or a bunch of cones. Some locals may even have trouble getting to their homes and businesses.

Gary Jablonski, Co-owner of Bum Rogers Tavern and Crabhouse discussed the street situation in one of New Jersey’s biggest shore towns.

“A lot of them can’t even get down their own streets and you know they have to park at the top of the street and walk down. So if you have groceries, it’s been tough,” Gary stated.
