Monday Marks Beginning of Final Mainland Storm Brush Removal Pass

Officials ask that mainland residents have vegetative materials curbside before Dec. 17

The township has announced that the final pass for Hurricane Sandy-related brush removal in the mainland will begin on Monday, Dec. 17.

Residents are asked to place all vegetative maters, except for leaves, curbside prior to Monday so that it can be collected, according to the Toms River municipal website

"This will be your last opportunity to have brush removed curbside," a township statement reads.

Officials anticipate that this mainland collection will take less than two weeks to complete.
