Polls are open today for voting in party primaries. June 5 polls are open until 8 p.m.

Voters can proceed to their regular polling place to vote in their party's primary.

Republicans have a contested primary in the race for U.S. Senate. Four Republican candidates are vying for the spot, hoping to run against incumbent Sen. Robert Menendez (D).

Vying for the spot on the Republican ticket: Joe Rullo, headquartered in Beachwood; Bader G. Qarmout of Newton;David-Douglas Brown of East Brunswick and District 13 State Sen. Joe Kyrillos.
