Presenters at the Saturday, March 23 seminar include a hazard mitigation specialist from Louisiana and a professional engineer who will speak about an elevation technique that does not require moving a home from the property, according to the township. "For property owners who may need to raise their homes, it is critical that you get the best possible information out there from licensed professionals. At the seminar, you will learn what is involved in raising your home and how long a typical project will last," said Mayor Thomas Kelaher in a statement.
