Toms River School Board Releases Audio Files of Meetings

School district now posts audio recordings of meetings online for public streaming

An audio archive of recent Toms River Regional School Board meetings is now available online.

You can listen to meetings dating back to July, which is a few meetings after the board agreed to make audiotapes of its meetings accessible online.

The board previously had written minutes available only after the minutes were approved by the Toms River Regional School Board.

A push to videotape meetings and broadcast them live or file them on the school district website or TV-21 cable access station was introduced in 2012 but failed to pass enough board votes.

The audio recordings are separated into multiple files for the same meeting, allowing a listener to isolate a section of the meeting to listen to; for example the public comment portions or the student awards ceremonies.
