College to Host 9/11 Commemoration, Homeland Security Conference

Ceremony, discussion will take place Sept. 12

Students at the Ocean County College Library now walk past a piece of rusty, twisted steel salvaged from the ruins of the World Trade Center after the terrorists attacks nearly a decade ago.

It will not be the only reminder of those Sept. 11 attacks.

On Sept. 12 the college is planning a 9-11 commemoration and a homeland security conference.
