Donovan's Playoff Run Ends at Delbarton
The Griffins fall to the unbeaten Green Wave in the first round of the NJSIAA playoffs
Going up against an unbeaten team is never easy. Going up against them on their home turf is even more challenging.
And it was this challenge that Monsignor Donovan faced when it traveled to Morristown on Saturday for an NJSIAA Non-Public Group III playoff game against Delbarton.
Donovan (5-4) scored a touchdown to draw within a score in the first quarter, but Delbarton (9-0) put up 28 unanswered points before halftime en route to 49-7 victory.
