Verizon Wireless to Host Free Tutorials at Toms River Store on Android Devices

Verizon Wireless is offering free Android device workshops on Tuesday, July 12, 19 and 26 at 5:30 p.m. at its retail store located at 1278 Hooper Avenue in Toms River. On July 12, the Android Advanced Part 1 course will focus on utilizing Wi-Fi connections, mobile hotspots, and maps and navigation as well as how to personalize a device and use Verizon Wireless resources. On July 19, the Android Advanced Part 2 workshop will focus on transferring data between computers and Android devices, browsers and troubleshooting. On July 26, the Android Basic tutorial will focus on transferring data between computers and Android devices, using voice actions and browsers, and troubleshooting. Verizon Wireless data experts will provide customers with a free hands-on tutorial to help them learn how to make the most of their devices, provide them with in-depth information and answer questions.    

 “Participants will receive uninterrupted hands-on instruction that will enable them to maximize their smartphone or tablet to meet their everyday communications needs,” said Harry Martin, director, advanced wireless communications technologies for Verizon Wireless’ Philadelphia Tri-State Region.
