More Than 1,500 Students Graduate from OCC's Class of 2013
46th annual commencement ceremony was held Thursday
More than 1,500 students celebrated their graduation from Ocean County College this week.
The 46th annual commencement was held on Thursday at the college's main campus in Toms River. Ocean County Freeholder John C. Bartlett, a 1968 graduate from the school, was guest speaker and received the Distinguished Alumni Award.
Mary Foley from the class of 2013 delivered the student remarks. Other speakers included alumni Kevin Smith, OCC Board of Trustees Chairman Carl V. Thulin, OCC President Dr. Jon H. Larson, and Keith Buscio, chairman of the OCC Foundation Board of Trustees.

The ceremony was broadcast live on Channel 20 on Comcast and Channel 24 on FiOS. It will be rebroadcast on Sunday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m., preceded by the nurses pinning ceremony at 4 p.m. and awards ceremony at 6 p.m.
