Upcoming School Winter Concerts

Local schools get ready to perform their Christmas concerts for families and friends

Get in the holiday spirit with the students of Toms River by attending one of the many school concerts at Toms River Regional or Saint Joseph's and Monsignor Donovan.

Here's a selection of evening concerts for the public to enjoy this holiday season.

December 14

St. Joseph’s will host their Grade Two and Grade Four Christmas Concert 7 p.m. The school is located at 711 Hooper Avenue, Toms River.

December 19

’s annual Christmas concert featuring numbers from both the choirs and the band will take place on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held at Gepp Gymnasium, Monsignor Donovan High School, 711 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. At 5 p.m. there is a special Senior solo concert followed by the 7 p.m. show including Concert Choir and Jazz Choir, under the direction of Ms. Cindy Wald-Hardyal. Monsignor Donovan High School band, The Grifftones and the Jazz/Rock Ensemble perform under the direction of Mr. Harold Frazee. Along with holiday music to enjoy there will also be a student art show on display.

December 21

kicks off their celebration with a Holiday Concert at High School South.  It starts at 7:30 p.m.  The festivities include concert material, traditional holiday music, and a special holiday sing along with the choir. And don’t forget the new favorite holiday tradition an audience participation performance of The Twelve Days of Christmas.   

December 21

St. Joseph’s Grade School will perform their Christmas Pageant at 1:10 p.m.
