Toms River BOE Meeting To Include Introduction of Board Policies

The Toms River Regional Board of Education is set to vote on the introduction of numerous board policies at its meeting Tuesday night.

The policies cover areas including attendance, tenure charges against staff, evaluation procedures and acceptable use of the school's computer network by teaching staff, among others.

In a closed session meeting before the public portion begins, the board will discuss litigation related to the case of former superintendent Michael J. Ritacco and the contract of incoming superintendent David M. Healy.

The public portion of the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
