Toms River North's Ashlyn Keller Pays Tribute to 9-11 Heroes

• Name: Ashlyn Keller, 12th grade, Toms River Township
• School: Toms River High School North
• Accomplishment: Ashlyn Keller was  selected as one of 12 students to exhibit her artwork in the 2011 Art Educators of New Jersey Youth Art Month Calendar.
• Key to Awesomeness: Ashlyn has received a coveted spot in the 2011 Art Educators of New Jersey Youth Art Month Advocacy Calendar entitled “This is America!”  As an 11th grader at Toms River High School North, Ashlyn shares the 12 calendar spots with students ranging in grades three through twelve from all over New Jersey including such towns as Oradell and Newark. Her artwork is December's picture. More than 100 entries were submitted from throughout the state of New Jersey, and this year's calendar is dedicated to the victims and heroes of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack. Ashlyn created the work of art in 11th grade, and now the calendar marks her senior year at North.
