How much does it cost the taxpayers when the taxes INCREASE EVERY YEAR and the teachers work about 180 days?

Rain Days..That's a good one for all those up North to laugh at.

They keep falling for the weather "hype" - winter storm Maximus, my ass! Hope taxpayers have a rainy-day fund for this knee-jerk reaction every week... Skip spring break in order to finish the school year before July.

It is quite obvious that those of you complaining are stuck in a world that left you behind. Rather, you refused to evolve with it. A world where TR was a much smaller walkable place, a less diverse economic community, where people didn't sue at the drop of a dime, and Reagan was still President, where you couldn't talk to someone in Tokyo in an instant. You put 40 kids on a bus in icy conditions today and you get a lawsuit the size of Montana. The school has to hire a lot of really expensive lawyers (your tax dollars),tthe coffers start to drain, and your tax rate goes up. All because you walked 50 miles in the snow both ways and pressured the district to make a bad decision. Nice job folks.

@ A Voice Your are 100% correct. Irregardless whether the roads were drivable or not I for one am Glad I don't have to make the call. The first tragic accident everyone above would be screaming..."How could they be so stupid to put those kids lives in danger they should have closed schools.". And yes....there is no question if common sense was not used and a death or tragic injuryto one or several of the above's kids occurred everyone above would be on the phone with their lawyers!! LOL REALITY

As long as we're rambling on about not much at all... Irregardless? I think regardless is the word you're looking for.
