Macy's & Macy's Ocean County Hurricane Sandy Recovery Efforts

As an active user of the Toms River Patch website and an employee at Macy's Ocean County, I would like to update our local community on the efforts Macy's is taking in the wake of the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy. 

Macy's Inc., at all affected store locations, is distributing 20% coupon vouchers to person/s or families adversely affected by Hurricane Sandy. Vouchers are valid for six months and can be used at any brick & mortar Macy's store location. The 20% off coupon voucher is valid on most items, including all necessary items such as kitchen electrics and accessories, pots and pans, bedding, comforters, etc. The coupon voucher also provides a 10% discount on big ticket home items such as mattresses and furniture. A Macy's Star Rewards credit card is not required to receive this benefit voucher.

Any person/s and/or families affected in our community may visit their local Macy's store to touch base with an associate and sales manager to immediately receive this benefit. A valid photo ID and documentation from FEMA or related agency is required to receive the voucher.

Macy's Ocean County is located in Toms River, NJ, and is a flagship department store in the Ocean County Mall, which is located on 1201 Hooper Avenue, and is minutes away from Exit 82 on the Garden State Parkway. Macy's Ocean County houses its Housewares, Textiles & Domestics, and full Mattresses showroom on its second floor, and also accepts orders on Furniture related inquiries.

Macy's is also accepting donations in conjunction with the American Red Cross and is matching, dollar-for-dollar, the donations made for relief efforts. Simply make your donation at any Macy's store register and assist Macy's in matching, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to $500,000, which will be donated directly to the American Red Cross.
