BlueClaws Heading Home Tuesday

Big games and fun promotions on the schedule

After an up and down road trip that included stops at Greensboro and Hagerstown the Lakewood BlueClaws will be heading back home on Tuesday for the start of a seven game home stand.

The action kicks off with four games against the Asheville Tourists before three games against the Greenville Drive to wrap up the month.

Tuesday's 6:35 game will be a Senior Day Tuesday where all seniors eat free and the first 2,000 fans will receive magnetic schedules so they know every time the team comes to FirstEngergy Park. The magnets will also be given to the first 2m000 fans on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday's game against the Tourists also brings a well known face from the big leagues to Lakewood as former pitcher and broadcaster Jim Kaat will be signing autographs during the game. The series with the Tourists wraps up with the always popular Friday fireworks display after the 7:05 game.

Monday is another chance for the kids to eat free and also get ready for some exciting horse racing action. The BlueClaws will hold a Kentucky Derby Celebration where they will feature the popular race and also give out prizes to nearby Monmouth Park.
