Frazier Homers Again for Cincinnati

Toms River South graduate cracks his second career home run for Reds.

Making two starts in succession for the first time in his major league career, Todd Frazier continued to turn heads for the Cincinnati Reds, Wednesday night.

Playing third base, the former Indian belted his second career home run, this time on the first pitch that he saw in the top of the fifth inning, to cap off his night.

The solo home run was not enough to help the Reds get the win, however, in a 5-4 losing effort to the Houston Astros.

With one out, Frazier also popped out to short stop in the top of the seventh inning.

His fifth-inning blast put the Reds on the board for the first time all night, after falling behind 2-0 in the first inning.

Pitcher Dontrelle Willis helped out his own cause, blasting a solo home run of his own in the top of the seventh inning, which gave Cincinnati the temporary 3-2 advantage.

Their bullpen could not hold the lead, however, surrendering it in the bottom half of the seventh inning.

J.D Martinez belted a two-run double in the seventh to give the Astros a lead they would not relinquish.
