South Jersey Group V

Eastern quarterback Tom Flacco, the younger brother of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, threw for 345 yards and four touchdowns and also ran for a touchdown as the Vikings (7-3) pulled out a last-minute win over the Mariners (5-4). Eastern will host Southern in the semifinals.
Sophomore quarterback Carmen Sclafani ran for two touchdowns and threw for another, junior tailback Trevon Bass had a pair of touchdown runs and senior kicker Chris Gulla booted a field goal in the loss for Toms River North.
(6) Southern 33, (3) Washington Twp. 32
Senior tailback Abe Gonzalez ran for three touchdowns, including a 55-yarder, and the Rams (7-2) blocked an extra point with three minutes left in the game to stun the host Minutemen (7-2) and move on to the semifinals, where they will travel to second-seeded Eastern.
Senior quarterback Dan Higgins threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Rob Yaiser for a 33-26 lead with five minutes left in the game for the game-winner for Southern.
Non-Public Group III
(4) Red Bank Catholic 54, (5) Msgr. Donovan 0
Senior James Taylor had two punt returns for touchdowns, sophomore tailback Mike Cordova had a 24-yard touchdown run, quarterback Pat Toomey had a 54-yard touchdown run, senior Jesse Flaherty ran for an 18-yard touchdown, and junior tailback Larry Redaelli scored on a 22-yard touchdown run as the Caseys (9-0) built a 40-0 lead at halftime on their way to blanking the Griffins (5-4).
RBC will travel to top-seeded St. Joseph-Montvale, the defending champion, in the semifinals.

Central Jersey Group V
(1) Manalapan 39, (8) Monroe 7
Junior tailback Tyler Leonetti had a pair of touchdown runs as the Braves (9-0) blew out to a 32-0 halftime lead on their way to rolling past the Falcons (3-7).
Manalapan will host fourth-seeded Hunterdon Central in the semifinals.
(4) Hunterdon Central 40, (5) Brick Memorial 21
Senior quarterback Ryan Cieplenski ran for a 20-yard touchdown and also threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to wideout Joe Hans as the Mustangs (5-5) fell to the Red Devils (5-4-1) to end their season.
Jason Cabinda had a pair of touchdown runs and Mike Knight threw two touchdown passes in the win for Hunterdon Central, which moves on to face top-seeded Manalapan in the semifinals.
Central Jersey Group IV
(7) Middletown South 40, (2) West Windsor South 8
Senior fullback Jake Ripnick ran for four first-half touchdowns of 2, 3, 3, and 24 yards as the Eagles (6-3) blew out to a 33-0 lead in the second quarter on their way to routing the Pirates (8-2) to reach the semifinals. Middletown South will play the winner of Saturday's Colts Neck-Steinert game in the next round in two weeks.
Junior quarterback Kyle Brey added a 9-yard touchdown run and also threw a 38-yard touchdown pass to wideout Andrew Wisialko in the win.
Central Jersey Group III
(3) Long Branch 26, (6) Matawan 3
Senior quarterback Avry Griffin threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to junior running back Deon Williams and also ran for a 68-yard touchdown to help the Green Wave (8-1) win their sixth straight game and their second in a row over the Huskies (6-3) to advance to the semifinals, where they will play the winner of Saturday's Manasquan-Nottingham game.
Sophomore kicker Vicente Mota added field goals of 23 and 34 yards, and sophomore defensive end Hunter Baillie had a 16-yard interception return for a touchdown for Long Branch.
Kicker Mike Creamer had a 27-yard field goal in the loss for Matawan.
Central Jersey Group II
(6) Weequahic 13, (3) Rumson-FH 10
Akrum Wadley scored on a 1-yard run with 5:05 left in the third quarter for his second touchdown of the game to give the Indians (7-2) a 13-3 lead and they held on to surprise the Bulldogs (7-2).
Junior kicker Jake D'Amelio hit a 20-yard field goal and senior quarterback Danny Roberto had a 1-yard touchdown run in the loss for Rumson.
Central Jersey Group I
(1) Shore 48, (8) Keansburg 12
Senior fullback Jack Kelly ran for 166 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries to help the Blue Devils (8-1) win their eighth straight game and beat the Titans (4-5) for the second time this season to advance to the semifinals, where they will host the winner of Saturday's South Hunterdon-Asbury Park game.
Junior quarterback Matt Muh ran for an 8-yard touchdown and threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to senior Mark Costantino in the win.
(2) Point Beach 44, (7) South River 6
The Shore Conference's leading rusher and scorer, senior Danny Tighe, ran for three touchdowns to give him 24 for the season as the Garnet Gulls (9-0) routed the Rams (6-4) to set the school single-season record for wins and advance to the semifinals, where they will host the winner of Saturday's Florence-Keyport game.
Senior running back Kyle Samaritano added a pair of touchdown runs, senior Andre Cochran had one and sophomore quarterback Jake Fioretti threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Noah Yates in the win.
South Jersey Group III
(4) Northern Burlington 27, (5) Point Boro 17
Senior quarterback Chris Oliphant ran for a 38-yard touchdown and senior kicker Brett Blank added a 37-yard field goal as the Panthers (5-5) had their season come to an end in a loss to the Greyhounds (5-4), who got 120 yards rushing and four touchdowns from L.J. Terry.
(6) Bridgeton 18, (3) Barnegat 17
The Bengals (4-5) built a 17-0 lead in the first half but could not hold on as the Bulldogs (6-4) rallied for 18 unanswered points, winning on a 72-yard punt return by Cappadonna Miller with 1:04 in the third quarter and taking advantage of six Barnegat turnovers.
Quarterback Cinjun Erskine had a 1-yard touchdown run, running back A.J. Opre had a 7-yard run and senior Pat Moran had a 30-yard field goal in the loss for Barnegat.

Senior linebacker Doug Cuccinello had four sacks to help the Green Dragons (3-7) end the season with a win over the Rams (2-8).
