Sophomore Sarah Smith Breaks Lacrosse Record.
Monsignor Donovan Sophomore Sarah Smith scored her 100th goal against Point Pleasant Borough High School.
Sarah Smith wowed the crowd in a game again Point Pleasant Borough High School as she went on to break a Monsignor Donovan High School record May 18 in Toms River.
In just her sophomore year, Sarah became the youngest player to score her 100th goal in regular season play for Mon Don.
Sharing the excitement in this monumental event, Coach Kim Sandomierski said, “Sarah is the complete package – athletics and academics! I am proud of her and this accomplishment. It just shows how much she loves to play, as well as her talent level for lacrosse. Not to mention, that she is a really sweet girl.”

Sarah, an avid lacrosse player, has been playing lacrosse from when she was a seventh grader at Goetz Middle School in Jackson. Sarah is also a member of theT3 Elite Team. T3 is short for "triple threat," a position from which a lacrosse player can shoot, pass or dodge. T3 Lacrosse focuses on the complete player by teaching the skills and strategies necessary to be successful both on and off the field.
