The Cheap, Fast, and Not So Easy triathlon in Island Heights was held on Memorial Day morning.

And it was another successful year for the Jersey Shore MultiSport triathlon group. Rain, thunder and lightening — nothing deter these athletes from finishing the race.

Top overall women and men winners were Jason Gers with a finish of 47:16.1 and  Alexandria Okuniewicz finished at 58:55.7.

Athletes showed their patriotic side by running across the finish line holding American flags high and proud.
