Families of Fallen Police Get Day of Beach Fun

Breakwater Beach hosting state Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors

An organization dedicated to serving the families of police officers who died in the line of duty has sponsored a free day of fun in Seaside Heights today.

The New Jersey Chapters of COPS, which stands for Concerns of Police Survivors, has paired with the Storino family to offer member families free access to Breakwater Beach waterpark, Casino Pier rides and arcade today.

State dignitaries will join the families of fallen New Jersey police officers for the day.

At noon, the day will begien with remarks to families at the upper deck of Breakwater Beach.

Scheduled to join in the event are families of officers killed in the line of duty, State Police chaplain Monsignor Lowery, Lt. Colonel Lou Klock of the New Jersey State Police, the Storino family, Members of the Garden State C.O.P.S. and Survivors of the Triangle chapters of the national organization of Concerns of Police Survivors.
