Gov. Christie Loses His Cool at the Jersey Shore

The governor was caught on video berating a heckler on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.

Maybe it's the summer heat.

Gov. Chris Christie can't seem to keep a lid on his temper these days.

For the second time in a week, Christie lost his cool in public.

While on vacation with his family in Seaside Heights on Thursday, Christie lashed out at a passerby on the Boardwalk, the Huffington Post reports. The passerby made a derisive comment about the governor's education policies, according to TMZ.com

The video can be seen right here.

Last week, the governor berated a reporter during a press conference, after the reporter asked an off-topic question.

Despite the recent flare-ups, the Republican governor is considered a front-runner for the GOP vice-presidential nomination.

Aqualung....
Hitler was a Christian. That doesn't make all Christians bad Even though Obama is NOT a Muslim , what is your sick point?

Aqualung...
We don't know if other politicians have their money offshore, but we do know Mint Rawmoney does. We also know that Willard outsourced jobs while at Bain capital.

My thoughts are more in line with who isn't on the 'next indictment' list. However, I remain hopeful the 1960s-somethin' search committee probably established by our current sitting Freeholders comes out of retirement one more time for another noble attempt at creating such a list. Maybe when the heat wave ends and the hot air goes back to Trenton?

Aqualung said: "Obamas mother became an atheist and a practicing muslim." If she was an atheist then she was not a Muslim. Obama went to a Catholic school in Indonesia and also to a regular government school that accepted kids of all religions. He only spent part of 3rd grade and 4th grade there and then went back to the US for the rest of his education in Hawaii. He barely even knew his biological father. From wikipedia: Obama Sr. was raised in a Muslim family, but converted to Christianity and changed his name from "Baraka" to the more Christian-sounding "Barack" when he was about six years old at the insistence of the Christian missionary schools he attended. He became an atheist as a young man, before meeting his second wife, Ann Dunham. Note to Aqualung: atheist means you don't believe in God and don't practice any religion.

Vote to give Christie the Legislature he needs to fix NJ and I bet his mood will improve. And so will the mood of every other tax payer in the state.
Typical Obama Voter July 15, 2012 at 04:26 pm
Meant to type and " then a practicing muslim." I know of people who were born Catholics, became atheists, then became born again christians, then became atheists again and then became catholic again. people change their faiths all the time and obviously Obama and his mother are two of those people.
Wikepedia? really? Try reading Obamas own books. I do not make things up. Take your blinders off. Please. Obama went to a muslim school in Indonesia and he attended mosques regularly with his parents who were also practicing muslims. In new jersey there are catholic schools, especially in the inner cities that are attended by catholics and jews and protestants and some muslims. You may not want to admit to Obamas past but you cannot change it. Nice try.

Aqualung......
Even though Obama IS A CHRISTIAN, I don't care what his religious backround is. Osama Bin Laden is dead and Al Quaida is on the run everywhere. Right wing knuckleheads like yourself attack his religion? If the Rev. Wright thing didn't work for you as a Christian ,then you try the Muslim angle. Some of you try the commie, nazi, etc BS. Maybe you should look at Romney's religion from outer space(look it up). I don't personally care what his religion is. The bottom line is that Romney is a believer in trickle down(your pants)economics that is destroying the middle class. Before Reagan started these policies in the 80's, we were the #1 EXPORTER OF MANUFACTURED goods and the bottom exporter of raw materials. Since then we did a 180, and all of these manufacturing jobs have gone overseas. Thank you NIT WITNEY, Bain Capital, Corporate America, Republican puppet politicians,Fox News, and people like yourself that make obtuse non factual statements that sorry apathetic voters listen to.

From what I have been reading, not just wikipedia, Obama's mother was never a practicing Muslim. She was very skeptical of all religions and was pretty much non-religious but she was a spiritual person. From time magazine, 4-9-08:
"Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population, but Obama's household was not religious. "My mother, whose parents were nonpracticing Baptists and Methodists, was one of the most spiritual souls I ever knew," Obama said in a 2007 speech. "But she had a healthy skepticism of religion as an institution."

Big Bill.....
Not a chance! Especially middle class workers who know the difference between a good job and the crap that CEO'S don't have to worry about. This is why the national plutocratic Repugnant party loves to kiss his BIG ASS-PIRATIONS
Rick July 15, 2012 at 05:59 pm
More Christian-sounding "Barack"? Barack is an Arabic name derived from Mubarak.
Baruch was a follower of the prophet Jeremiah and is considered a minor prophet himself.
Rick July 15, 2012 at 06:30 pm
Really. small town republican sheriffs? In the south?
Remember Lester Maddox. Georgia governor from '67 to '71. How about George Wallace? Governor of Alabama several times from '63 to '87. And then there was Orval Faubus. Governor of Arkansas from '55 to '67. He was the governor who used the National Guard to block the 'Little Rock Nine' from entering the all white high school.
Rick July 15, 2012 at 07:10 pm
Revisionist history? Don't they teach American History in schools anymore? Are you saying that the Solid South didn't exist.
BTW, I don't watch Glen Beck. And I didn't need Beck to tell me about Maddox, Wallace, Faubus and all the other nice southern Democrats. That stuff was current events when I was younger. I read it in the newspapers.
Dudley HatV July 15, 2012 at 07:37 pm
Christie is funny. Remember when he did not like the show "Jersey Shore" because a few of the cast members were of Italian American heritage and he was miffed they acted like jerks? Duh, well Mr Christe is also of Italian-American heritage so why did he act like the Jersey Shore retards?
Mapleleafnj July 15, 2012 at 08:51 pm
Talk about out of scope. This all started from some Sleez-Side boardwalk gutter trash opening their trap and CC telling them to go shove it. First we had "THE DOPE", then we tried "HOPE" , and now we are "BROKE". And all everyone rants about is talking points about this party or that party. Listen up folks "THEY ALL SUCK". Obama, Romney, CC, Clinton, Joe Blow the councilman, they are all in it for the perks and dont give a damn about you, your union, your job, or your family. I say hire them once, and fire them once, and force them all into the private sector and see if they can really make it.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Actually you are wrong about what started this. The person that made the comment was not some "some Sleez-side boardwalk gutter trash". It happened to be a resident of New Jersey who had a difference of opinion, to which he was entirely entitiled, from what some of you call our governor. He did not use profanity and whomever started that rumor is a liar. He voiced an opinion and Christie lashed out at him, being so brave with all of his security. Christie is a joke.
. July 15, 2012 at 09:34 pm
He is also Scottish, Irish, so what is your point?
barbara July 15, 2012 at 09:44 pm
seriously, enough already! Let it go and move on. trying to stay out of this....tired of reading and deleting all these comments. the jerk who made the comment might not have been ss trash, but he should have shut his trap and mined his own business and left the gov alone. if he wanted CC to know his opinion, he could have sent him a fb message or e-mail instead of airing it in public while cc was trying to enjoy the boardwalk with his family. so wish the Patch would end this feud.......
Mapleleafnj July 15, 2012 at 09:53 pm
I'm wrong, so be it.
Mapleleafnj July 15, 2012 at 09:56 pm
Agree and basically my point I have tried to make twice, but people love to argue non-issues as our country sinks even deeper into the abyss. Would love to see this much energy at a school board meeting where they spend 1-200 million of our tax dollars.. Patch can you please end this thread already??????
Gene July 16, 2012 at 12:47 am
'Our country sinks even deeper into the abyss' is the issue, and CC as you call him is part of the problem and not the solution. He backs greedy corporate banksters(like Willard) and not WE THE(middle class working) PEOPLE.

aqualoogie the left doesnt hate the wealthy thats more fox b.s.. the left doesnt like those who make their millions by closing down companies like kaybee toys, gst steel , dade international and many others leaving people who had the same job all their lives now on the unemployment line and no health benefits. try being 55 yrs old and finding a new job that some kid 20 yrs old will do for little money and no health benefits. whats even more pathetic by rick and aqualunger is even any comparison of a trust fund baby like mitt who bought a deferrment from vietnam with his money to people like jfk who received the highest medal of honor this country can bestow upon someone for his bravery in ww 2 or fdr who gave us the new deal and gave us our highway system that connected this whole country for commerce, and opened up this country for everyone in it. but those uber billionaires like the koch bros need all the gullible rubes they can get to defend them. congrats
Rick July 16, 2012 at 04:48 am
They aren't free Gene.
You have to send in two Wheaties box tops and $3.00 for s/h.
Rick July 16, 2012 at 04:52 am
I am so glad that you are sure that Fox never reports anything factual.
Over 10 years ago they reported that two planes crashed into the twin towers in New York. I'm glad that wasn't true. And then again, a few years ago they reported that some guy named Barack Obama was elected President. Also glad that wasn't true
George July 16, 2012 at 11:53 am
Check a candidate's priority -- the 1% or the rest of us -- and vote accordingly. Millionaires can't buy this election if we exercise our right to vote, despite the efforts of 1 party to suppress voting rights.
Gene July 17, 2012 at 12:36 am
Rick...
The solid south abandoned the Democratic Party when Pres. Johnson passed the Civil RIghts Bill. They are now the new bigoted Republican Party which looks nothing like the party of Lincoln.
Gene July 17, 2012 at 12:47 am
Weeny Conservative....
Why don't you run for office and show us again how you would cut into middle class disposable income. You could pick Joe the plumber as your running mate. You sound pathetic.

Great story! Glad to hear your on your way back. Also happy to see someone else noticing that inRead More some places it still looks like Sandy hit yesterday. Some mayors might consider that "complaining".
