Something For Everyone As Ocean County Fair Continues This Weekend

Fair being held at Robert J. Miller Air Park in Berkeley Township

The 67th annual Ocean County Fair, held at Robert J. Miller Air Park, Route 530, in Berkeley Township, provides a little something for everyone.

Whether they be animal lovers or chainsaw carving admirers, the event - which continues through July 14 - aims to please families.

Children can check out their favorite farm animals at the 4-H sponsored petting zoo or watch baby pigs compete against each other at Hot Dog's pig racing station.

Those looking for more of a thrill can check out the fairs wide variety of scream- provoking amusement rides or compete for prizes at the water gun and balloon pop games.

For the foodies, there are plenty of vendors serving all kinds of tasty treats, ranging from traditional carnival foods like cotton candy and corn dogs to more BBQ style like pulled pork sandwiches.

If magic tricks and laughs are more your thing, make sure to check out one of Doc Swan's magical comedy variety shows.

Tickets for the non-profit event are $7 for anyone 10 and up. Children younger than age 10 are admitted free.

Pay $20 for unlimited rides Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.
