If you want to add a different sport to your weekend, there's fishing. That is, over in Silverton, is hosting its annual Fishing Flea Market on Feb. 5. A $2 donation at the door is requested to join in the shopping fun, which begins at 8 a.m.

In nearby Lakewood, is hosting an evening of roots music, as in some Americana, bluegrass and folk music. The Glimmer Grass Roots concert features the Dixie Bee-Liners, Glimmer Grass Band, and Thomas Wesley Stern. Tickets are available at the door, and the show starts at 8 p.m.
