Located on the river in downtown Toms River, Huddy park is a historic site and the location of many special events. The attack on Toms River Blockhouse can be found at this park; during the Revolutionary War, Toms River was a major Patriot privateer center and the original Blockhouse was burnt down during the war when the British attacked the village. There are picnic benches and a gazebo stage at Huddy Park. Crabbing and fishing is permitted.
