St. Joseph's Catholic Church organizes choirs for adults, teen and children and involves parishioners as cantors who lead the congregation in singing at masses. The church offers adult ministries that include prayer and reading groups as well as the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal society dating back to the late nineteenth century. In addition to young adult and youth ministries, St. Joseph's provides religious education to parish children from kindergarten through eighth grade, which includes weekly classes, children's services, preparation for sacrament, Bible camp and a program for children in families that have experienced loss. St. Joseph's Church also operates two private Catholic schools: St. Joseph's Grade School and Monsignor Donovan High School. Its strong commitment to community outreach and service are reflected by its food pantry and prison ministry.
