Went last night for dinner-very disappointed. We were greeted at the door by a young man who took us to a table and threw 2 menus down and plopped down a basket of bread-never said a word. We were there 5 minutes and the waitress was asking us what we would like for dinner. The grouper was dried out and was served with 2 dried pieces of zucchini and 2 chunks of potato. I had been to the old rest. in Island Heights and loved it. What happened?
Tired of heading into Monmouth County for fine dining? This restaurant, with a menu of new American cuisine that changes every three weeks, is exactly what this area needs. The food is prepared wonderfully but with a focus on the customer that is rarely found in "fine dining" establishments. The staff is friendly and want to make your dining experience one to remember. For a large group or a romantic dinner, this is my goto place in Ocean County.
